Mater Dei is a Catholic College in the Diocese of Wagga Wagga that caters for the holistic educational needs of students from the local region. As a Catholic learning community Mater Dei is committed to providing a quality teaching and learning program which meets NESA guidelines.

In its founding year, the College catered for students in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10, growing in 2005 to include Year 11 and finally Year 12 in 2006. It gives respect to the long history that Mount Erin High School, Saint Michael’s Regional High School and Trinity Senior High School have provided to the community. Over a period of more than 130 years Catholic Schools in Wagga have been served by the Christian Brothers, Presentation Sisters and lay teachers.

Today, the College has five streams in each year group and total enrolment in the vicinity of 800 students. The dual charisms of Nano Nagle, the Presentation Sisters, Blessed Edmund Rice and the Christian Brothers continue to shape the College mission and traditions of the Catholic School.
